Kryptonite
“One of Iraheta´s interests with this project is to question the stereotypes
that constitute idealizations of progress and success, and what it means to be
a hero in historical terms of modernity. Likewise, to point out gender issues that
has been rethinking in recent years not only from art but also from different
socio-political settings. It is in this context that Iraheta develops an
investigation on the use of superlatives in Latin American countries, words
with the prefix "super" that exaggeratedly qualify people or
situations…”
